Will I receive notifications on how my application is progressing within the selection process?
You will receive an on-line acknowledgment as soon as your application has been submitted. All candidates receive written notification of the outcome of their application. See Our Hiring Process for more information.

Will Bombardier apply for a work permit on my behalf?
You will need to have the right to work in the UK or hold a valid UK work permit to be considered for a role with us. If you are not a citizen of the EEA (European Economic Area) and require a working visa to join us, we might be able to consider your application, if we are unable to source a suitable candidate from within the EEA. For further guidance on nationality requirements, please refer to the Home Office website: www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk, prior to submitting your application form.

What if there are no openings that interest me?
If you do not see any suitable opportunities, why not look at job postings for other Bombardier Aerospace or Transportation sites.

Do you accept resumés?
No, an application must be made online in response to a specific job advertisement. We are unable to accept resumés for any Bombardier Aerospace, Belfast position, including Graduate positions.

Do you accept CV’s without going through the website?
No, all applications must be made online. This is so we can ensure your CV is where it needs to be, and will be reviewed by the correct people.

Are all positions posted online?
It is our practice to post all Bombardier positions, with a few rare exceptions. These exceptions could include occasions where we use recruitment agencies to recruit certain executive positions.

Why can’t I find the position I applied for in the job list?
The position may have been filled or may be no longer part of our current requirements. If the role is no longer available, you should be notified by email.
You may also want to ensure that you are checking the right Bombardier business unit. For example, you may be browsing the current Transportation opportunities, when you may have applied for a position within the Aerospace group.

What if there are no openings that interest me?
You can submit your CV to be registered in our Careers database and receive automatic email notices of job openings that match your skills.

I would like to refer a candidate; how can I send you their CV?
All applications must be made online. Once the candidate has registered their profile, they will be able to indicate that you referred them for the position.

Will I receive notification of where my application is in the selection process?
An acknowledgment email is sent when you apply. Generally, you will be contacted by phone if your skills / experience are suitable for a position. You will receive an email notifying you if you’re not successful. See Our Hiring Process for more information.
